*** Support for this modem requires PocketPORT firmware
version 1.4 or later.
Configure the PocketPORT before inserting the USB modem. After writing the configuration parameters to persistent memory, power off the PocketPORT, insert the USB modem and power the PocketPORT back on.
Signal strength will not display until the required modem
configuration parameters have been saved and the PocketPORT
is restarted.
Sierra DirectIP mode may provide slightly bettern performance than GSM/HSPA mode; however when using DirectIP, optimal performance on the AT&T HSPA+ (4G) network may require that
"Path MTU Discovery" and "Path MTU Blackhole Detection" be enabled
and/or the MTU size set to 490 for devices connected to the PocketPORT.
Please refer to these links for more information on adjusting these
values on your PC.
